Youth Skills Clinic

The Youth Skills Clinic introduces young people in the Columbus community, especially underserved youth, to the game of golf. It supports the mission of The Juneteenth Golf Outing Public Charity, which was created to educate and celebrate Juneteenth National Independence Day while expanding access to golf for youth affected by demographic inequality.
The organization works to provide quality instruction, education opportunities, and the equipment needed to participate in the sport. It also builds partnerships with community stakeholders to advocate golf as a pathway to better health, personal well-being, and the skills necessary to pursue employment and long-term economic growth.
In June 2025 the Youth Skills Clinic was launched, giving more than 40 young people ages 5-18 the opportunity to experience golf under the guidance of professional golfers at Champion Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio. The events success was made possible through generous sponsor support and strong community commitment.
Building on this momentum, we look forward to expanding the Youth Skills Clinic and reaching even more young people in June 2026.
